Importance of First Aid in the Workplace
The First Aid is defined as an “immediate care given to a person who has been injured, or who has become ill prior to the arrival of qualified medical assistance”. This normally includes techniques like Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), applying pressure to alleviate excessive bleeding, putting up bandages or support to injured body parts, cleaning cuts and wounds, etc. It can also be as simple as calming an injured person and holding their arms.
